   Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), an institution known for its policy research and advocacy on environmental issues, invites applications for the position of Site Manager to supervise the construction of its new research and training centre at Alwar in Rajasthan.
We are looking for a candidate to work on a year’s contract, renewable based on requirement, to undertake administrative and coordination work related to building construction. The candidate should have prior experience of working at civil construction sites and should be able to liaise with government departments, architects, engineers and labour and ensure smooth and timely completion of work. S/he should be reliable and accountable, and be able to keep control over and record the progress schedule of the work, and maintain a proper flow of information between the site and head office.
Retired government officials, army personnel and civil engineers will be preferred. Candidate is expected to stay at the site. Salary will be commensurate with industry standards.
Construction site: Village Neemli, Dist. Tijara, Alwar, Rajasthan
Construction area: 10 acre
